What we want to do and be involved in, is in supporting a community where it is OK to talk, ask and workshop. We want a community where we can talk about our specific incident or concern or passion and where we can support each other in finding ways to enjoy living our lives.
It might not always be a happy space; We're aiming to try and create enough safety that we can speak and explore. That means we’re talking about things that make us angry, or sad, or fearful but it is a space where it is OK to speak and where we know we are heard. That’s what a safe space means to us, we may feel uncomfortable and we may have to move outside our comfort zone but we can do it in an environment that is supportive.
